Terrorism in Afghanistan

 Admiral Mike Mullen is a funny guy indeed, but his fun can proved to be very expensive for this region and for the world at large. His latest allegations on Pakistan are not only very alarming but they can also proved to be a catalyst for a wide scale war in this region. That war would have no precedence in the world before, because in this war, everybody would be fighting everybody and nobody would no whats happening with whom and where and perhaps why.

Haqqani Network is the new buzzword in today’s war on terror. Al Qaeda has gone into back-burner and now it seems that the root cause of all the problems in the world are due to Haqqani Network. WMD was excuse of America to attack Iraq, Al Qaeda was her excuse to devastate Afghanistan, and now Haqqani Network is her perfect excuse to storm Pakistan. Siege of Pakistan is complete and now the final touches are being given. In United States now the discussion is revolving around the point that America is fighting the war in the wrong country. Analyst of every kind is affirming and debating that Pakistan should have been the target before Iraq and Afghanistan.

Afghanistan is neighbor of Pakistan, and Pakistan cannot live in isolation and oblivious to the happenings in the Afghanistan. During and After Russian attack, ISI and CIA jointly worked together in Afghanistan, and then ISI worked alone. Indian RAW and Russian KGB also participated fully in the ravaged country. After 9/11, once again CIA focused on Afghanistan, and ISI’s involvement was natural.

So now why US says that Pakistan is involved in terrorism in Afghanistan? Not only that but also they say that Haqqani network is the real force of ISI, and both are attacking American interests in Kabul and elsewhere in Afghanistan. US knows the reality that Pakistan cannot dare to ask Haqqani Network or any other Taliban group to attack US embassy or any other interests. Pakistan will surely attack any Indian or any other interference, but won’t make the US angry. The establishment leadership is way too pro-American.

US knows that, and its putting pressure so that either Pakistan kowtow voluntarily and accept becoming a lackey against China and also accept Indian supremacy, or get ready for becoming another Iraq.
